Even after I quit drinking alcohol I still found there were times when my mind would be racing and full of thoughts and I knew I needed to take steps to calm it down and get myself in a place of peace.
A few years ago I went to a retreat in the New Forest here in the UK run by an inspirational Japanese lady called Etsuko Ito, she taught my an amazing technique called brain breathing that I have used it ever since.
It is a fast way to still the mind and to calm yourself down and quickly.
The first time I heard the term brain breathing I thought it sounded crazy, but believe me it works!
Watch the video below and give it a try for yourself – I would love to know how you get on.
